Remains a long a time without a win but went down as an unlucky loser for the second start in a row when second of 10 at Newcastle (1m) 10 days ago, again caught behind horses at a crucial stage. Clearly weighted to be winning a similar race so can make amends with a clean run.
Won twice at Ripon over 1m last year but yet to reproduce that form this season. Took a step back in the right direction when third of 13 over C&D (good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago and not out of things having been eased a further 1 lb in the weights since.
Yet to get his head in front this season but has found one too strong on 3 occasions, most recently in 10-runner event at Southwell (7f) just over a fortnight ago. One to consider back up to 1m for the first time this year.
Overcame a pace bias on only his second start on all-weather when winning at Newcastle in July. Has gone the wrong way in both subsequent outings though so now has a bit to prove.
Ran one of this season's best races when second of 10 in 1m Ayr classified event last month, particularly as she went hard in front. Not in the same form over C&D since though and has since left Gary Rutherford.
Regular slow starter who got off the mark in a C&D handicap before adding to his tally at Ayr (1m, good to firm) in July. Shaped as if still in good form when fifth of 13 over C&D just under 3 weeks ago and not without each-ways claims.
Modest maiden who ran up to her best when third of 9 at Carlisle (7f) on return last month. Followed that with a poor effort back on all-weather last time and easy enough to look elsewhere given her record.
One of his better efforts of the year when 1¾ lengths third on stable debut at Bellewstown last month. Had plenty on from out of the handicap at Navan a couple of days later and has since left P. Sweeney.

Thats My Boy Luke (5/2), Hale Bopp (4/1), King Sharja (9/2), Book Of Life (11/2), Due Respect (7/1), Approaching Dawn (15/2), Eagles Dream (10/1), Our Nicola (12/1), Defence Missile (50/1)
BOOK OF LIFE went down as an unlucky loser for a second start in a row at Newcastle recently so, granted better luck in-running, Patrick Morris' 6-y-o gets the verdict to belatedly double his tally at the expense of King Sharja, who has found one too strong 3 times this season and may be adding another silver medal to his collection. Thats My Boy Luke can edge out Approaching Dawn for third.
