More productive on all-weather than turf this year, recording back-to-back wins in classified events at Wolverhampton/Lingfield in recent weeks. Carries 5-lb penalty back in a handicap and should remain competitive.
Edged out only late on when second of 7 at Yarmouth (5f) last month but followed that with a poor effort at Carlisle (6f, good). Cheekpieces the headgear of choice this time and better showing anticipated returned to the minimum trip.
Course winner back in the spring who settled better in first-time hood and took a step back in right direction when fourth of 13 at Ayr (6f, good) just over 3 weeks ago. Folly to ignore returned to the minimum trip.
No impact in a couple of handicap starts, including on first try sprinting at Carlisle a fortnight ago. Hopes rest on addition of first-time cheekpieces.
Hit-and-miss performer whose sole success came in a first-time visor on all-weather for Robert Cowell in March. Went without usual headgear and wasn't disgraced having gone with typical exuberance when 2¾ lengths fifth of 10 to Lady Bouquet at Musselburgh recently.
Bounced back to form to notch her first success of the season in 10-runner event at Musselburgh (5f, good to firm) 9 days ago. That was a weak race, and a 5-lb penalty will likely make her vulnerable for win purposes.
Maiden who proved consistent for Noel Wilson this year. Promising yard debut when runner-up in classified event at Redcar last month but wasn't ideally placed returned to handicap company there (6f, good) 11 days ago. Not dismissed.
Sole win came over C&D in March 2025. Rather in and out on the all-weather earlier in the year and will probably need this returning from 6 months off.
Maiden after 7 runs and having shown improved form when third of 10 in a handicap at Redcar in June, unsurprisingly failed to repeat that effort at Nottingham (6f, good) just under 5 weeks ago. Makes all-weather bow from marginally out of the weights.

Forecasts
Ellie's De Vega (3/1), Let's Go Hugo (3/1), Papa Don't Preach (4/1), Pivotal Terms (9/2), Shatin Venture (10/1), Heathers Feather (11/1), Lady Bouquet (12/1), Sands of Seve (33/1), Muddy Nora (40/1)
PAPA DON'T PREACH went within a head of opening his seasonal account at Yarmouth last month so, provided he can put a lesser 6f effort behind him since, Kevin & Lauren Frost's charge gets the nod. Let's Go Hugo arrives seeking a hat-trick, so he's feared most returned to handicap company, with the Phil Kirby-trained pair Lady Bouquet and Ellie's de Vega taken to fight out third.
