Won 3 of his last 4 starts last year and back to form fitted with headgear when winning at Chepstow before running at least as well in a much more competitive environment at York. Probably did too much too soon at Goodwood next time but harder to excuse his latest last-placed finish at Newmarket.
A 3-time 7f winner in first half of 2025, including at C&D. Edged down the weights and returned to form back on all-weather when third of 13 in handicap at Southwell (7f) 15 days ago. Not ruled out.
A 4-time winner in 2025 who got back on the up when successful at Chepstow (7f, soft) in June. Not seen to best effect back up in grade when eighth of 13 in handicap at Southwell (7f) 15 days ago. Others more persuasive.
€450,000 New Bay filly who confirmed debut promise when completing a simple task in 7f novice at Doncaster last summer before making the frame in a strong race at Deauville. Entitled to have needed the outing on return/handicap debut at Newbury last month, but might need a bit more from this mark.
Six-time Goodwood winner with his latest success in last year's Golden Mile. Yet to get his head in front this season and didn't capitalise on his favoured softer conditions back at Goodwood on Saturday, but does remain on an eye-catching mark.
Didn't need to be at his best to land the odds in maiden at Pontefract (6f) in May. Took his form up a notch when following up on handicap debut at Catterick (7f) last month and ran as well as could have been expected when seventh in a better race at Goodwood since. Might need more from this mark.
Winless since his debut but in good heart this season, again running creditably with the benefit of an easy lead when runner-up in a 7-runner event at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) 3 weeks ago. Can go well again from 1 lb higher.
Back on the up to land a fourth win of the season at Catterick in July before a creditable third when bidding for a hat-trick in better company at Newbury. Added to her good record on turning tracks when third at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm) 7 days ago and she should be involved again.

Forecasts
Rhoscolyn (3/1), Aurora Majesty (7/2), Naval Light (4/1), Kisskodi (11/2), Velvet Rhythm (7/1), Do Bronxs (11/1), Morte Point (11/1), New Vega (18/1)
VELVET RHYTHM should prove well suited by the test provided by Epsom and can take this step up in grade in her stride to record a fifth win of the season. Do Bronxs is a reliable sort who should give his running again, with Aurora Majesty also considered in a race where cases can be made for the majority.
