Foaled March 28. 140,000 gns Wootton Bassett colt. Dam 1½m winner, granddaughter of Blandford Stakes/Premio Federico Tesio winner Royal Ballerina, also second in Oaks/Irish Oaks. Newcomer from a leading stable and interesting to see what the betting makes of him.

Foaled February 6. Cracksman colt. Dam, 6f winner, sister to very smart winner up to 7f James Garfield out of useful 2-y-o 6f/7f winner Whazzat. Another newcomer in this line-up who hails from a good stable.

Definite signs of promise in a pair of 7f starts (all-weather/turf) but might be one who doesn't really come into his own until handicapping.
