Pair of 7f wins last year. Down the field first 2 starts this season but bounced back to best when second of 14 at Beverley (7.4f) in June. Difficult draw and an overly-aggressive ride made life hard for her when eighth of 15 in handicap at Thirsk (1m, good) 12 days ago but is yet to score at 6f.

Has benefited from the cheekpieces going back on this summer, making it 2 wins from 3 starts when making all over this C&D last month. Shaped as if still in good form when 5¼ lengths fourth here next time and is easily excused his latest effort having been kept apart from his rivals in the straight.

Built on a couple of good efforts to finally open his account by 4¼ lengths in a 6-runner handicap here (5f, good to soft) in June having been well backed. Beaten by more than a 9 lb rise when eighth of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (5.6f, firm) last time but can be given a chance to bounce back.

Finally gained compensation for a string of runner-up efforts when off the mark over C&D in June. Back in form and shaped better than the beaten distance when 4¾ lengths third over 6f last time. Entitled to be competitive.
