Lauralynn¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 9-9| J: Zak Wheatley| T: D Carroll| OR: 64| D

5/2

Made all in 5f Southwell maiden in May. Found the listed Marygate too much at York later that month but back on track with her sights lowered after a break when third of 7 in 5f Carlisle nursery (good to firm) a fortnight ago. Bold show likely dropped to a Class 6.

Form: 32173

(5)

Aodhan⁵⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: D Nolan| T: R Menzies| OR: 63

13/2

Best effort when fourth of 6 in C&D maiden (good to firm) in June. Given 8 weeks off ahead of this first nursery. Improvement wouldn't surprise.

Forecasts

Needin' U (5/2), Lauralynn (5/2), Spectacular Diver (9/2), Aodhan (13/2), Stay On Tab (8/1), Mardy Bum (14/1), Savoy Blue (16/1), Bea Kindly (33/1)

LAURALYNN was up against a couple of well-treated rivals when third in a Carlisle Class 5 on her first attempt in a nursery and this looks an easier assignment. If Spectacular Diver reproduces the form he showed when third in novice company at Beverley last time he might provide the chief threat ahead of fellow nursery newcomer Aodhan.
