Placed in 2 Irish points and has very much shaped as if handicaps have been the plan since sent hurdling, not knocked about when fifth at Uttoxeter (2m, good) when last seen in May. Hood applied but handicaps will be more his bag after this (banned under non-triers' rule last time).

One-time fairly useful handicapper for Harry Charlton but little to shout about for new connections this season. Likely outsider on hurdling debut.

Modest 1¼m winner on the Flat who seemingly ran to a similar level sent hurdling when fifth of 9 in maiden over C&D (good) last month. Better to come somewhere down the line.

Showed more like his hurdling debut form refitted with a tongue strap and in first-time cheekpieces when third of 13 in maiden at Tramore (2¾m, good to soft) 3 months ago (saddle slipped late on). Has since switched yards and may well be in the shake up if ready to roll.

Bumper winner in November 2024 but hasn't built on strong debut third in maiden hurdle the following month, again cutting out quickly when last seen at Navan in February (lit up by first-time blinkers). Sold cheaply from Gordon Elliott since (4,000 gns).

Fair on Flat in Ireland. Looked the part for hurdling and he did better for debut under his belt when fourth of 10 in juvenile at Ascot (15.7f, soft) in January (tongue tied). Shaped as if still in good form when fifth at Ludlow next time and big chance on return (has had a breathing operation).

Back-to-back winner on Flat in Ireland for Stuart Crawford last summer. Offered something to work on making yard/hurdling debut on return before inexperience got the better of him when fell last in Southwell maiden in May (weakening in third at time). Watching brief advised.

Had a breathing operation prior to debut (tongue tied) and failed to live up to expectations in a course bumper in June. Sent off a much bigger price and finished tailed off over C&D on hurdling debut the following month and likely needs more time.

Produced best effort to date when second of 6 in juvenile hurdle at Lingfield (2m, good to soft) last December, though very much looked as though he could do with more of a test. In good hands and should progress despite being kept to 2m for this return.

Ocovango gelding who proved too free to last home when seventh of 9 in bumper at Fontwell (2¼m, good) on debut in May. Settled better and showed a bit more when third at Newton Abbot (17f, good to firm) last month and now makes hurdling debut.

DOWN TO BUSINESS made a promising start for new connections last season and, having had a breathing operation since prior to this return, Dan Skelton's 4-y-o gets the nod to open his account at the expense of Thiscouldbetheone, who showed more like his hurdling debut form when third at Tramore in the spring and has since switched yards. Network Gold rounds off the shortlist on reappearance.
