Won a 7f Yarmouth maiden for the Gosden stable last summer and found his form again for current yard when runner-up at Pontefract in June and at Hamilton a couple of weeks later. Possibly found out by a 5-day turnaround when last of 5 in handicap at Hamilton (8.3f, firm) when last seen.

Best effort for a while when scoring with plenty in hand at C&D in July. Around a length behind runner-up when badly hampered and fell at York next time but showed no ill effects when a good fifth of 10 in handicap at Hamilton (8.3f, good to firm) 21 days ago.

Back to form out of the blue to take advantage of a reduced mark for new yard at Thirsk (7f, good) in June and ran at least as well when eighth of 18 in a more competitive environment at York (7f, good) 4 weeks ago. Others perhaps look better treated at present.

Made a sound reappearance for new yard (formerly trained by William Haggas) when sixth of 11 over 1m at Redcar in June but has failed to build on it in 3 subsequent outings. Regular cheekpieces replace blinkers but has bit to prove at present.

Progressive last year and ran best race when second in handicap at Newmarket in September (strong form). Stepped up on her reappearance run despite racing freely when seventh of 10 in handicap at Goodwood (1m, good to firm) last time and she's a player taking on her elders in this lower grade.

Fitted with first-time cheekpieces and showed improved form to resume winning ways in 12-runner handicap at Southwell in March but failed to give his running at Wolverhampton next time (scoped dirty). Has 3-y-o form on turf but could need this after 135 days off.

Veteran who completed a quick-fire hat-trick when making most at Ripon at the start of this month but produced a rare poor performance when last of 7 in handicap at Doncaster (1¼m, firm) 7 days ago, perhaps feeling the effects of a busy summer. Turned out again quickly.

Made a successful handicap debut at Roscommon in May. Left Joseph O'Brien 10,000 gns before his latest start, a never-involved sixth of 8 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, good) 8 days ago. Others preferred.

Seemed to benefit from the fitting of more severe headgear (first-time blinkers) when notching a fourth Pontefract win last month before producing another good effort from 3 lb higher when second there 9 days later. Couldn't extend that run of good form at Thirsk last week, though.

Won Southwell (7f) novice in good style last year but hasn't gone on since, a step up in trip not proving beneficial at Ayr earlier this month. Easy to oppose at present.

Forecasts

Queen Tamara (11/4), Mr King (3/1), Rajapour (4/1), Regalian (9/2), Kaleido (10/1), Camino Del Ray (14/1), Mount King (16/1), Substance (25/1), Poet's Dawn (25/1), Boy Named Sioux (25/1)

Verdict

QUEEN TAMARA looks very well treated on the form of her final juvenile start and can make her first start outside of her age group a winning one. Rajapour brushed off a nasty incident at York with a good effort at Hamilton 3 weeks ago and is also shortlisted, with stablemate Kaleido also considered.
