Made a winning debut in 4-runner all-weather Lingfield maiden on sole start in 2025. Back on track when second in novice on turf there in May and put a low-key handicap debut behind him when the impressive winner of a 4-runner Leicester handicap (6f) last weekend. The one to beat under a penalty.

Ran well after a 3-month break when ¾-length third of 12 to Diligently at C&D in June but was always behind after a slow break when last of 11 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) 37 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time.
Better than ever when getting his head back in front at Chelmsford (6f) in January and bounced back to form to double his tally for the year in an 8-runner handicap at Newbury (6f) 25 days ago, doing well to come from off the pace. Not certain to back that up but respected nonetheless.
Three-time C&D winner (latest on her penultimate outing in July) was third in this race last year and arrives here on the back of an excellent second in a 26-runner handicap at Goodwood (6f, good to firm, 13/2) 19 days ago. Leading player again.
Won at Kempton (6f) in December. Mostly creditable efforts in defeat on all-weather at the start of 2026 and produced another good effort fresh when 2 lengths third of 8 to Amazonian Dream in handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 28 days ago.
Landed his eighth course win here in June, 6 of those coming at C&D. Ran respectably in a better race than he need contest when fifth of 10 in handicap at Brighton (6f, good, 14/1) 10 days ago, so not ruled out back at this venue.
Didn't need to improve to get off the mark in a Lingfield novice back in January and followed up returned to handicap company 3 months later in 9-runner event at Leicester. Another good effort after another 4-month break when third in a Brighton handicap (6f) 10 days ago and his mark is unchanged.
A dual 6f/7f nursery scorer last autumn. Advanced his form in first-time cheekpieces when a close second at Leicester last month and went a long way to confirming that improvement when fifth of 26 at Goodwood (6f, good to firm) 19 days ago.
Has a good record here, notching his fourth C&D success here in July. Not quite at his best from a mark only 1 lb higher when seventh of 13 in handicap at this C&D (firm) 21 days ago and perhaps vulnerable to more progressive types from this rating.

Forecasts
Ray Mon Dough (9/4), Waistcoat (5/1), Under The Twilight (6/1), Amazonian Dream (7/1), Tenbob Tommy (8/1), Lequinto (10/1), Cashbox (10/1), Righthere Rightnow (12/1), Buccabay (12/1)
Hard to rule any of these out, but RAY MON DOUGH looks well on his way to becoming a smart sprinter and can defy a penalty for his Leicester win 8 days ago. Waistcoat is another player on the back of his Newbury win, whilst last year's third Under The Twilight should be in the mix again after a fine effort at Glorious Goodwood.
