Successful on return/stable debut at C&D in April and has quickly made up into a reliable sprint handicapper typical of the yard, posting another good effort when fourth of 21 at York (6f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Has handy draw here and mark is unchanged.
Responded well to a positive ride to exploit a lower turf mark in impressive fashion at Chester last month and has since completed the hat-trick with a brace of front-running C&D wins, most recently beating 7 rivals here 11 days ago. Up another 5 lb but has to be respected again.
Looked in the doldrums but returned to form to win an 8-runner handicap at Goodwood (7f, soft) in June, the reapplication of headgear perhaps the catalyst. Nearest at the finish after putting himself on the back foot at the start when seventh of 17 at York (7f) last month. Now back down in trip.
Useful sprinter at best who showed promise on first 2 outings for this yard in April and May. Failed to build on those efforts across 3 starts since, so remains with a bit to prove having finally slipped below his last winning mark.
Has taken his form up a notch for this stable, winning at Thirsk in April and running at least as well when second of 20 at York in May. Also runner-up at Newmarket twice in July and wasn't disgraced up in grade when seventh of 21 back at York (6f) 22 days ago. Respected in this company.
Successful twice at this course last year and landed back-to-back wins at Catterick and over C&D last month, but wasn't at his best when 4¼ lengths sixth of 8 to Alfa Whiteburd in handicap at this C&D (good to firm, 7/2) 11 days ago. 2 lb lower this time.
Dual winner in 2025 and good second here (5f) on this season's return. Arrives here in respectable form, not disgraced in a stronger race than he usually contests when eighth of 21 in handicap at York (6f, good to firm, 33/1) 22 days ago. Now back at last winning mark.
Better horse on the all-weather but wasn't beaten far when second of 4 in handicap at Nottingham (5f, good to firm) last month but went without much fluency and was never involved when last of 12 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good, 33/1) 15 days ago.
Suited by a sound pace when getting back to winning ways at C&D in June. Good placed efforts at Newmarket next 2 starts and has excuses for both outings at York last month, confirming himself as still in decent form when sixth of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm) 9 days ago.

Forecasts
Veblen Good (5/2), Alfa Whiteburd (5/2), Havana Rum (11/2), Yes I'm Mali (6/1), Rare Change (9/1), The Good Biscuit (10/1), Russet Gold (18/1), Fiscal Policy (28/1), Mondammej (100/1)
VEBLEN GOOD won over C&D back in April and confirmed himself a useful sprinter with a fine fourth in a big-field at York last time. He's fancied to capitalise on this drop in grade and deny Alfa Whiteburd a fourth consecutive win. Yes I'm Mali completes the 1-2-3.
