Heineken 0% Handicap

Keen-going C&D winner who finished runner-up to a revitalised Accrual here earlier this month. Ran up to his best when going one better in similar company at Nottingham on Tuesday (carries a 5 lb penalty here). This race should set up nicely, and a follow up isn't ruled out.

Had gone off the boil for David Loughnane (sold for 22,000) before bouncing back to make all over C&D 12 days ago, always holding pair of next-time-out winners (Moulin Booj reopposes). Still 1 lb lower than when successful on all-weather over the winter. No surprise if he makes it 2-2 for Ruth Carr.

Has remained in good heart since getting off the mark for current yard over C&D in June. Caught the eye with her move into the race 1¾ lengths sixth (behind Managing Director) in 'Jump Jockeys' Nunthorpe' at York and likely strong pace could play into her hands here. Looks interesting.

Notched a third success from 5 starts on turf this season in a thin race at Nottingham (5f) last month. Had little to give at the business end in a big-field Glorious Goodwood handicap (6f) subsequently and this still looks competitive enough.

Made it 3 wins from 6 starts this year when seeing off an in-form rival to land a 5-runner handicap at Hamilton last month. Only 1¼ lengths behind Moulin Booj (won since) and Accrual over C&D latest and is weighted to be closer this time.

Successful over C&D this time last year before winning off his current mark at Catterick. Finished close third in a better race here in May prior to gamely opening his account for season at Pontefract last time. Needs more again on return from 7-week break, though.

Wasn't on a going day when fourth in this corresponding event 12 months ago. Ran at least as well as ever when defying a penalty to complete a Pontefract double last month. Flying too high in hat-trick bid there subsequently and should be more competitive in this grade.

Forward-going type whose sole success came over C&D as a juvenile. Looked as good as ever second start back from a significant absence, finishing 1 length third of 17 in a competitive York handicap. Has to be considered against some more exposed types.

Quickly put a lesser effort behind him to land a gamble in Class 6 sprint at Catterick last time. That form has some substance, but improvement needed to follow up in a stronger race.
