Won bumper at Catterick in March before fifth of 20 in a Grade 2 at Aintree in April, doing easily best of the 4-y-os. Makes her Flat debut up against younger rivals and likely to find this beyond her.

Won on debut at Newbury over 9f in June beating Miss Scott, before good second of 5 to same rival there over 1¼m 25 days ago, shaping with plenty of encouragement. Useful prospect who now switches to all-weather and is upped in trip with outstanding claims of defying a penalty.

Lightly-raced filly who improved markedly from her debut, coming second of 13 in a novice at Lingfield over 1¼m in June, running green and still looking very much a work in progress. Can progress further upped in trip.

Similar form all 3 starts and more required kept to novice company, but the step up in trip looks sure to be ideal now switching to all-weather.

Forecasts

Manaar (1/3), Ladykirk (7/2), Arrivera (10/1), Lunella (25/1), It Would Be You (40/1)

Verdict

MANAAR has a penalty to defy but looks a useful prospect and can resume winning ways upped further in trip. Arrivera is going the right way and can improve further for the longer trip so could give her most to think about.
