Overcame pace bias when winning at this course (11f) in March and has continued in good heart since, also scoring with a bit in hand at Ffos Las (1¼m) in June. Can make his presence felt with yard going well.

Unplaced in 4 starts at Meydan and Milan previously, showed ability on first outing for 7 months/since leaving Antonio Marcialis when third of 10 in maiden at Goodwood (1¾m) in June. Entitled to step forward from that run as he drops back in trip for handicap debut.
Successful 3 times over 11.5f at Windsor in 2025 but yet to hit top form this year, sixth of 9 on the all-weather at Lingfield (13f) 30 days ago. However, she now gets a drop back into 0-70 company which could help.
Fit from hurdling, registered a first career success back on the Flat in handicap at Catterick (1½m) in April. Exploits mixed under both codes since, but ran well up in trip on the level when third of 8 here (2m) 7 days ago, nearest at the finish.
Successful twice in 2024 and, after 14-month absence, shaped as if retaining ability when fifth of 10 in handicap over C&D in May. Seemed unsuited by the drop back to 1¼m when down the field at Nottingham next time, so he could fare better back here.
Fair maiden on the Flat in Ireland who has shown similar form over hurdles, landing the odds in 11-runner maiden at Tramore in April on latest outing. Makes first start since leaving Denis Hogan and could be on a handy mark back on the level. Interesting contender.
Went close on handicap debut at Lingfield (1½m) in February and ran well when third of 7 here (11f) a month later. However, he ran no sort of race back at Lingfield in April and has been absent since.
Some encouragement in his qualifying runs, before meeting trouble leaving the stalls when last of 10 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in June (also lost his action). First run for yard after leaving Roger Varian.
Largely consistent in all-weather handicaps last year and placed twice in maiden hurdles this spring for David Killahena & Graeme McPherson. However, well held on handicap hurdle debut last month. Hood applied back on the Flat for stable debut.
Back in cheekpieces, returned to form for current yard when winning a class 6 over C&D in May. Has given her running both subsequent outings, well positioned when third of 7 here (11f) 5 weeks ago.

Solanna (5/2), Crooked Path (4/1), Maywedance (7/1), Star Time (10/1), Semper Femina (10/1), Maestro Del Mar (10/1), Roland Garros (10/1), Eljowhary (12/1), Naasma (14/1), Backer Bilk (16/1), Imperial Decision (20/1)
A winner over hurdles in Ireland in April, CROOKED PATH has since joined a yard which has an excellent record with new recruits and he looks to be on a workable mark back on the Flat. He gets the vote ahead of Solanna, who isn't taken lightly in his current form, with Semper Femina completing the shortlist.
