Naval Crown colt who finished runner-up over 5f on first 2 outings but was beaten before stamina should have been an issue over 6f in Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot. Freshened up ahead of this switch to a nursery.

Speedy sort who made all in a 5f Goodwood maiden (good to firm) in June. Second to Undercover Affair in a 3-runner nursery at Windsor next time. Faded over 6f back at Goodwood last week but should be happier back at the minimum trip.

Second win when seeing off Jaijai in 5f Windsor nursery (5f, good to firm) in July. Flying too high in Group 3 at Glorious Goodwood last week and this much more realistic.

Beat a subsequent winner with something up his sleeve when making a successful debut at Nottingham (5f) in early-April. Off 4 months (gelded), met trouble at a crucial stage when eighth of 14 at Newcastle (6f) 13 days ago. Worth another chance to show he's capable of better.

Edged out by last week's Molecomb third Hell of A Spin in 5f Hamilton maiden (good to firm) 4 weeks ago. If that form is viewed literally he's well treated off an opening mark of 77.

Forecasts

Dance A Jig (2/1), Casino Star (2/1), God Given Talent (2/1), Undercover Affair (9/2), Jaijai (5/1), Rotelle (10/1)

Verdict

The form of CASINO STAR's latest Hamilton near miss was boosted when the winner was placed in Group 3 company at Goodwood last week and Karl Burke's charge is taken to strike on nursery debut. God Given Talent is interesting down in grade on his first run for William Haggas and is second choice ahead of Rotelle, who can have a line put through his latest Newcastle effort and remains capable of better.
