Racing Welfare Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Useful performer on the all-weather. Better than ever when successful at Southwell in November. Off since a lesser run at Kempton in January. Has a lower mark on turf but it's hard to be confident he can capitalise (0-5 on this surface).

Tough sort who won 3 of 4 starts on the all-weather between October and March and made a sound return to turf when third of 6 in handicap at this course (1¼m, good to firm) 15 days ago.

In the form his life with 3 turf wins in May/June. Ran no sort of race when distant last of 4 back on all-weather at Southwell 4 weeks ago but could bounce back with a bang returned to the grass.

Course winner who was a creditable third of 8 in handicap (12/1) at Sandown (1¾m, good) 29 days ago. No reason why he won't give his running again.

Without a win since 2023. Hit the frame in 3 top-end handicaps (including Royal Hunt Cup) for Michael Bell last summer but has failed to hit the same heights since. It remains to be seen whether a step up to 1½m helps.

Not long with this top stable. Possibly just stretched by 1¾m when third at Ascot 3 weeks ago and taken to come good back at slightly shorter.

Won a novice race on all-weather last September. Met with defeat in his first 5 handicaps but made a successful return from a 7-month break on turf at Lingfield (1¼m, firm) 10 days ago. 4 lb higher in a stronger race now.

C&D winner under Alexandra Egan last summer and even better form when going down only to an improving 3-y-o over C&D (good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Should go well again.
