Shaped better than first time up when third of 7 in a C&D novice in June, still in need of the experience but leading until over 1f out. Best excused his qualifying run at Ffos Las (struck into) and he could yet get back on the up now handicapping.

Runner-up on 2 of her 3 starts in novice/maidens and benefited from the return to this trip when making a winning nursery debut over C&D 17 days ago, asserting near finish. Player once more from 3 lb higher mark.
Some promise when midfield in the Brocklesby on debut. Didn't kick on initially but lines up here having run best race when tenth in last month's Super Sprint at Newbury (5f). Step up to 6f rates a plus, as does the switch to nurseries. Cheekpieces on 1st time.
Caught the eye when fourth in an ordinary novice at Wolverhampton (6f) on debut. Similar form when third in a stronger race at Newbury (6f, firm) last month and she very much remains with potential now making a quick switch to nurseries.
Confirmed debut promise when winning at Musselburgh in April. Didn't kick on next 2 starts but noted doing best work at the finish in disadvantaged group when seventh in last month's Super Sprint at Newbury. Step up to 6f can see her in an even better light. Hood retained.
Definite encouragement in novice/maidens initially and partnered by Oisin Murphy, she showed improved form to make a winning nursery debut over 5f here 10 days ago. Disappointed on sole previous try at 6f but it remains the case she should stay this far.
Modest form at best when down the field in 3 novice events and ran to a similar level when 2 lengths fifth of 8 on nursery debut at Chepstow (6f) 8 days ago, fading over 1f out. Eased 2 lb but he needs to pull out more.

Forecasts
Laylaty (9/4), Knock Three Times (7/2), Miss Moneypit (9/2), Rogue Imperial (6/1), Seed Ya Later (13/2), Seathegulls (15/2), Il Capo (28/1)
LAYLATY could only run to a similar level as on debut when third in a Newbury novice 23 days ago, yet her first run did contain abundant promise and she's well worth another chance to get back on the up making a quick switch to nurseries. This is competitive, though, with last-time-out winners Knock Three Times and Miss Moneypit heading up the dangers.
