Never been the heartiest but retains stacks of ability as a 9-y-o and resumed winning ways when landing the odds in listed race at Beverley 4 weeks ago. Seeking a hat-trick in this Group 3 (yard going for a fifth win in 7 years) and he has obvious claims.
Won the John Smith's Cup in 2024 before an unlucky defeat in valuable handicap at this meeting. Quite lightly raced last 2 seasons and seemingly retains all his ability. Longer trip is an unknown.
Winless since the 2023 Royal Lodge at Newmarket but has recorded some smart performances, changing hands for £2 million prior to his third in the Group 2 Hardwicke at last year's Royal Ascot (final start for Clive Cox). Far too free on comeback at that track and this should reveal more.
Won handicap at Meydan in March and not beaten far in listed race here in May. Proved effectiveness for this trip when 3¼ lengths third to Al Aasy at Beverley last time but this is much tougher.
Hasn't won since the 2024 London Gold Cup at Newbury but has run well in the Wolferton at Royal Ascot the last 2 years. Rare go at this trip (does stay) and will need a return to his very best if he's to feature.
Useful winner for Francis-Henri Graffard in France and back to that level for this yard when fourth in small-field listed races over C&D and at Newbury (1¼m, firm) on last 2 outings. Headgear back on and surely vulnerable.
Much improved this season having been gelded, following up his ready Carlisle success in the Duke of Edinburgh at Royal Ascot, well on top at the finish. Seems sure to make his mark at this level and part of a strong hand for the yard seeking a fifth win in 7 seasons in this Group 3.
Proved a different proposition upped to this trip when landing a valuable handicap at the Curragh 5 weeks ago, coming clear in good style. Well up to this level on that showing and unexposed granted this sort of test, so could have even more in her locker.

Forecasts
Opportunity (15/8), In My Teens (3/1), Al Aasy (9/2), Ghostwriter (13/2), Enfjaar (8/1), King's Gambit (18/1), Involvement (28/1), Midak (50/1)
IN MY TEENS blew a competitive Curragh handicap apart 5 weeks ago and should be well up to making her presence felt at this level with a repeat. She gets the vote over the William Haggas pair Al Aasy, who is seeking a hat-trick in this race, and the up-and-coming Opportunity, who won the Duke of Edinburgh in good style.
