Lightly-raced maiden who returned to form when fourth at Doncaster over this trip in September. Not disgraced when eighth in Old Rowley Cup at Newmarket on final start in October and has since joined Gordon Elliott ahead of return. Worth monitoring in the market.

Dual Flat winner for Dermot Weld who stepped up on recent stable debut when second over hurdles at Market Rasen at the start of July. Faced a stiff task when fifth in listed company here 4 days ago but others preferred nevertheless returned to this sphere.

Posted a career-best effort when getting off the mark in decisive style over this trip at Roscommon in May. Didn't jump well enough over hurdles at Punchestown on latest outing in June but he merits consideration making a quick switch back to this sphere.

Fairly useful form in France, winning a pair of claimers last year and offered more encouragement than previously for current yard upped markedly in trip when fifth of 9 in handicap at Ballinrobe (13f) 12 days ago. Interesting if the market spoke in his favour here.

Good record here earlier in career for Michael Mulvany and she shaped well on the back of a recent Flat spin for new yard when second in a big-field mares handicap hurdle here 3 days ago. Versatile as regards trip and she's interesting from this mark turned out again quickly.

Three-time winner in 2025 (including this race) and following same path this time around capitalising on drop in grade to land Roscommon handicap (10.3f) for second year running 32 days ago. Likely primed for another big run from 6 lb higher mark.

Has developed a fine strike rate on all-weather, completing a hat-trick at Dundalk (1½m) in March. Failed to make much of an impact at Roscommon (1¼m) in June and similar story at Leopardstown last month.

Won at Dundalk in February and was second there in March. Turned in a rare poor effort at the Curragh in April but better effort without being seen to best effect when seventh at Navan (1¼m, good to firm) 21 days ago. Effective at this longer trip but not the most consistent on turf.

Runner-up twice at up to 11.5f in France in spring 2025. Off for 14 months (easy to back) and never figured on stable debut when seventh at Ballinrobe (13f) 12 days ago, albeit not unduly punished from a less-than-ideal position. This promises to reveal more.

Winner for both Andrew Balding and Marco Botti in his younger days and having slipped down the weights matched comeback run for current yard when fifth at Ayr (1¼m, good to firm) 4 weeks ago. Visor now reached for back up in trip and he's not out of things.

Best effort of the season when fourth of 15 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, soft) in June. Left poorly placed when a never-dangerous sixth at Ballinrobe (13f) 12 days ago and he's no forlorn hope having performed with credit in this race 12 months ago.

Making only second start for current yard, finally capitalised on a falling mark with success at Roscommon (10.3f) in May. However, seemingly anchored by revised mark in 2 subsequent outings. Blinkers now reached for tackling this longer trip.

Capitalised on a reduced mark on return at Navan (1¼m) before doing well to defy a penalty at Killarney (11.5f) last month. However, struggled back up in grade when twelfth in a C&D handicap on Thursday.

Verdict

Having been gambled on FRATAS stepped up on her recent stable debut when runner up in a big-field handicap hurdle here 3 days ago, looking unfortunate to bump into such a progressive rival. She's gone well here in the past and could be worth siding with from a reduced mark back in this sphere. Granville Street is another boasting good course form and is feared along with last year's winner Thatwilldoso. Superficial is another in with a shout.
