Foaled March 29. €18,000 foal, €40,000 yearling, Naval Crown colt. Half-brother to 10.3f-13f winner Pinot Gris, also useful hurdler, and winner abroad by Cotai Glory. Dam, 1½m/12.5f winner, half-sister to smart 1¼m-1½m winner Zanughan. Probably needs time/distance.

Foaled March 27. €300,000 yearling, Camelot colt. Dam twice-raced half-sister to useful 9f/9.5f winner (stayed 1½m) Alluringly. Highly respected on debut, though Victory Speech looks the stable's first string.
|
Wootton Bassett colt. Showed plenty when ½-length second of 6 on debut at Curragh (7f). That was almost certainly a warm race (stablemate in close fourth runs at Goodwood on Saturday). Holds some lofty entries and looks the one to beat stepping up in trip (should suit).
|
Zarak colt (holds Group 1 entry) who showed plenty to work on when 1½ lengths fourth of 6 on debut at Killarney (1m). That race is already starting to work out, and he'll come on plenty for that experience. Looks sure to go well.

Victory Speech (11/10), Zarak Pasha (6/4), Thomas Chippendale (5/1), Roy Bean (12/1)
VICTORY SPEECH has strong claims to go one better than on debut. Zarak Pasha looks sure to make a race of it.
