Notched a third victory this year in 6f Haydock handicap in April. Creditable second of 7 over 5f here (good to firm) last month and a poor position offers an excuse for finishing well held in a York Class 4 since. Respected back in a lower grade.

Ex-American gelding. Sole success came in a maiden at Santa Anita in 2023. Form went wrong way for Neil Drysdale last year and down the field on C&D stable debut 4 weeks ago. Entitled to strip fitter but has a bit too much to prove.
Third C&D success when shading a tight finish on good to firm 13 days ago. Only nudged up 2 lb and the first 2 C&D wins were gained back-to-back. Has to enter calculations.
A fair 7f winner at Epsom in 2024. First sign of retaining ability since returning from a long absence when fourth of 12 over 6f at Windsor (good to firm) 18 days ago. Claims if he can build on that.
Won this race last year and arrives in form again after a near miss at Newbury (6f, firm) 22 days ago. Considered.
Suited by the return to 6f, scoring readily at Nottingham (good to firm) 14 days ago. Raised 7 lb but he's unexposed as a sprinter and it may not stop him.
Step back in the right direction when third on the Rowley course here in May but 2 lesser runs have followed, including over C&D. First-time cheekpieces need to help spark a revival.
Twice a winner for this yard last season but no obvious promise in 2 comeback outings in recent weeks.
Keen and has failed to see her races out over 7f/1m for Jane Chapple-Hyam but excellent new yard wastes no time dropping her in trip and equipping her with a hood. Very interesting runner, particularly if backed.
Long-standing maiden and hard to see that changing here from 11 lb out of the handicap.

Forecasts
Spring Bloom (13/8), Robert Anstruther (10/3), Jimmy Knocker (4/1), Rebel Path (17/2), Good Earth (9/1), Blue Samuna (16/1), Tanmawwy (20/1), Dancing Rinca (28/1), Currahee (33/1), Chiedozie (400/1)
ROBERT ANSTRUTHER had plenty to spare at Nottingham and is taken make light of a 7 lb rise and deny Jimmy Knocker a second successive win in this race. Spring Bloom's good C&D record suggests he's likely to be on the premises again, while market support for James Owen's new recruit Blue Samuna would make her a potential threat to all.
