Defied top weight in the Cambridgeshire (9f) in September and got off the mark for this season in a listed event here (1¼m) in May. Respectable third in Diomed Stakes next time but couldn't capitalise on having the run of the race when fourth of 6 in another Sandown listed event (1m) 4 weeks ago.
Won the Greenham at Newbury and Celebration Mile here (good to firm) last year. Made a good return to domestic action with a cosy success in 1m Ascot listed race but well held back up in grade in the Lockinge subsequently and again played little part in the Summer Mile at Ascot 3 weeks ago.
Third in a Group 2 at Rome in November and ran right up to his best to make his second handicap start a winning one in a 5-runner event at Hamilton (8.3f, good, 9/2) 57 days ago, very much having the run of the race but showing a good attitude nonetheless. This is tougher.
Thrived in Meydan earlier in the year, winning back-to-back handicaps. Solid efforts in defeat in Group company thereafter and translated that form back to Britain when third of 16 in Wolferton at Royal Ascot. Probably found the race coming too soon when last of 6 at Salisbury 2 weeks later.
Very smart 3-y-o who was placed in the Derby/Irish Derby in 2024 for James Fanshawe. Largely disappointing so far in this sphere for James Owen, though wasn't fully disgraced after again taking a strong hold in the Duke of Edinburgh (1½m, good to firm) at Royal Ascot. Will need more here.
Improved last season, winning Curragh Group 3 prior to finishing an excellent second behind Haatem in the Wolferton. Ran well in Bahrain/Hong Kong late last year and was back to form after a Saudi no-show when 2¼ lengths fourth of 16 to Map of Stars in this season's Wolferton. Leading player.
Smart and versatile sort who landed 2024 Jersey Stakes and added another dimension to his game when taking the Wolferton last year, digging deep to work his way past Galen. Sent off joint-favourite for his repeat bid in that race but could barely have found worse luck in running, so still respected.

Forecasts
Galen (3/1), Boiling Point (10/3), Haatem (10/3), Jonquil (9/2), Naqeeb (8/1), Crown Of Oaks (10/1), Diego Ventura (11/1), Ambiente Friendly (12/1), Dividend (14/1)
GALEN has been a fine money-spinner for these connections and the form of his recent Wolferton fourth should see him go close again. Haatem beat the selection in last season's Wolferton and can pose a major threat, his finishing position at Royal Ascot down to bad luck rather than bad form, whilst Boiling Point already has a listed win here to his name this season and can be in the mix.
