Won a pair of 5f handicaps at Newcastle for Bryan Smart at the beginning of 2025. Not seen again until a creditable fourth in another 5f handicap there for new yard in January. Off a further 164 days prior to well held at Southwell this month. Quick to drop into a claimer on the back of that.
Seems to blow a bit hot and cold but back to form with a bang to win C&D handicap 16 days ago. No guarantee he'll show up in similar form but likely to have a big say if he does.
C&D win last month. Didn't seem suited by the return to 7f when beaten 9 lengths into third at Chester since. Likely still in form but he faces a stiff task on these terms.
Useful at his best for Richard Hughes but failed to beat a rival on his final 3 outings for that stable and has been off for 10 months ahead of this first outing for Ruth Carr. Has plenty of class for this grade but his length of absence is a bit of a concern.
Third 6f handicap success when seeing off 9 rivals (including Hunky Dory) at Kempton in May. Only sixth back on turf at Newbury since. Better expected dropped to a claimer but Hunky Dory is weighted to turn around the Kempton placings.
Made all in C&D novice at the beginning of June. Creditable 2¼ lengths fifth of 10 to Jungle Drums in handicap back here since. Meets that reopposing rival on worse terms but he is well drawn to attack in stall 2.
Off the mark at Southwell in December and, making only second start for current yard, doubled his tally in C&D handicap in April. Creditable ¾-length sixth of 10 to Hockney in handicap at Kempton (6f, 13/2) 71 days ago. Drawn widest but still the one to beat dropped to a claimer.
Fairly useful sort who was back to winning ways at Chester (7f, soft) in June. Not at best in 2 subsequent outings but this is a drop in class.
Arrives on a hat-trick after 6f handicap wins at Chepstow and Ffos Las under Alexandra Egan last month. Not obviously well in at the weights but can't rule out in current mood.
Modest maiden who has something to find on these terms so first-time blinkers will need to spark improvement.
Landed a 1m Chantilly claimer in March but well held all 3 starts for new yard.

Forecasts
Jungle Drums (9/4), Hunky Dory (11/4), Manly Fireball (7/2), Hockney (9/2), Mission Command (9/1), Havanagreattime (20/1), Punchbowl Flyer (33/1), Buzz Box (40/1), Seu Jo (40/1), Hakin Adraar (66/1), Trust Sergei (66/1)
The outside stall isn't ideal but HUNKY DORY is the pick of the weights and is taken to add to his C&D handicap success in April. Jungle Drums will be a danger if reproducing the form he showed when successful here 16 days ago. Mission Command may prove best of the remainder.
- Hunky Dory11/4
- Jungle Drums9/4
