Isn't an easy ride but has left the impression he's building up to something on most starts for this yard, nearest at the finish when fifth of 11 over 1m at Hamilton last month. 12.5f too much of a test a month ago and he's very interesting down in trip/class on the back of a breathing operation.
Carlisle winner (11f, good to firm) last summer and sound return to action with a pair of third-place finishes in May. Free-going tendencies have held him back since, though.
Often starts slowly but recorded back-to-back 9f wins last summer. Stepped up on his return when just denied over this trip at Pontefract last month and recent C&D effort easy enough to excuse on account of a wide position from a high draw.
Ex-Irish trained 4-y-o who has been expensive to follow in recent weeks, runner-up twice before being brushed aside over 7f here 2 weeks ago. Significantly back up in trip on first outing for new yard with headgear removed.
Finally cashed in on a lowly mark in 6-runner handicap at this venue over 13f a week ago. Drop back in trip not sure to suit but 3 lb lower here so has to be of major interest.
Ended losing run in a Musselburgh handicap last summer for Jim Goldie. Gradually found her feet for new yard, third last 2 starts over 12.5f at Musselburgh, but she took a while to get going on each occasion.
Maiden but threatening to come good soon, looking suited by 1¼m when second at Nottingham a week ago. Jason Hart a positive booking for new yard so very bold bid incoming.
Below last winning mark and turned in his best effort of the season when third of 9 over 1m here a week ago. Rarely looks an easy ride and this first run over this trip for a while.
Runner-up in a pair of handicaps over this trip at Beverley but took a pretty big backward step when seventh of 9 at Nottingham 18 days ago, fading.
Has a poor strike rate but plenty of placed efforts to her name, including when runner-up from 6 lb out of the weights at Catterick on Wednesday. Just 1 lb wrong this time so she's a payer with a repeat.
