Off time: 14:30 | Winning time: 4m 4.83s

My Champion⁴⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: James Best| T: H Dickin

10/1

Shaped as if back in form when fifth of 10 in handicap at Windsor (1¼m, good to firm) just under 7 weeks ago, perhaps stretched by the longer trip. Makes hurdling debut having been sold cheaply from Ed Bethell since (just 1,500gns). Worth keeping an eye on in the betting.

Form:

Timely Salute^h1⁵⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: Tom Broughton⁽³⁾| T: M Comley

5/2

Proved his stamina for an even longer trip despite racing freely when fourth of 10 in handicap at Lingfield (11.6f, good to firm) just over 7 weeks ago. Makes hurdling debut in a first-time hood having since left William Knight (10,500gns). Considered.

Form:

Us Officer^p⁴⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 11-2| J: Brendan Powell| T: Tom Dascombe

12/1

Modest maiden on Flat who looked rusty after 9 months off when eleventh of 13 in handicap at Bath (1¼m, good to firm) just over 6 weeks ago. Cheekpieces back on for this hurdling debut.

Form:

Hearts To Heaven

Age: 3| Weight: 10-9| J: Callum Pritchard| T: J Tickle

25/1

Dragon Dancer filly. Dam unraced sister to dual bumper winner/useful 2½m/21f hurdle winner Tikkanbar. Worth a precautionary check in the betting on debut.

Form:

High Aura²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 10-9| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton

4/6

Too Darn Hot filly who shaped with some promise on her debut when third of 5 in juvenile hurdle at Stratford (2m, good to firm) just under 3 weeks ago, jumping with the most proficiency but lacking the speed of rivals with a background on the Flat. Obvious claims with improvement likely.

Form: 3

Forecasts

High Aura (4/6), Timely Salute (5/2), My Champion (10/1), Us Officer (12/1), Hearts To Heaven (25/1)

HIGH AURA shaped promisingly first time up when third at Stratford recently and with improvement on the cards, Dan Skelton's filly is fancied to go a couple of places better. The remaining quartet all make their hurdling debut, with Timely Salute and My Champion taken to chase home the selection in that order before the benefit of market clues.
