Standout effort for this yard when dead-heating at Chelmsford in October. Stepped up on reappearance when fifth of 7 in 6f handicap at Goodwood last month, whilst giving the impression he possibly still needed the run. Drops in grade.

Returned from lengthy absence to win on the all-weather both starts late last year, including at this course (5f). Ran well making handicap debut when third of 8 at Newcastle in January and not disgraced back on turf at Redcar 5 months later, though needs to prove he's as effective at 6f.
Missed the whole of last season but bounced back to his best when going close at 50/1 on second start for new yard at Kempton (6f) in May. Possibly unsuited by conditions when well held back on turf at Newbury since.
Added to good record fresh when a close third of 16 at Ripon (6f) on reappearance. Had little chance from his high draw at York subsequently but below par since.
Eleven runs since last win in 2025 and seems to be going through the motions at present, finishing fifth of 8 in handicap (20/1) at Kempton (6f) 34 days ago. Blinkers on for 1st time.
Scored at Newcastle (6f) in February. Respectable third from a 6 lb higher mark in a deeper race at Chelmsford next time but hasn't fired since.
Successful on 2 of his 4 starts for this yard last season, including at Chelmsford in September. Most likely needed the run when down the field in 22-runner handicap at York on reappearance and better expected here.
Confirmed return to form when bagging 8-runner handicap at Lingfield (6f, heavy) in June. Not quite in the same form under a 6 lb penalty at Sandown 6 days later.
Knew much more 8 months on when landing 6f Southwell novice in April and further progress when defying a penalty there following month, nicely on top come the line. Made a perfectly encouraging start to life in handicaps when second in 6f novice at Kempton last month and remains open to progress.
Made the most of experience in getting off the mark in 10-runner C&D novice 42 days ago, having run of race but clearly by far the best at the weights. More on his plate back in handicap company but has a good draw and should go well.

Forecasts
Night Storm (13/8), Aigeas (5/2), Manly Fireball (4/1), American Style (7/1), Charlie Mason (7/1), Rogue Supremacy (9/1), Jumeirah Sands (10/1), Twilight Fun (18/1), Moving Force (25/1), Rascal Recknell (25/1), Jungle Drums (33/1)
AIGEAS has presumably had his share of issues in his short career, but he got back on the up with an impressive success at Kempton 12 days ago and looks capable of defying a 10 lb higher mark. Manly Fireball should remain competitive back in handicap company, while Jumeirah Sands could easily have more to offer after just 4 career starts.
