More miss than hit since winning novice handicap at Hereford last spring. Worth another go at this intermediate distance, having failed to get home over longer trips this season. Drops back into a 0-100 sporting first-time blinkers.
Completed a double over C&D last May before nearly landing hat-trick in much better race here. Big step back in the right direction when third at Stratford (18.7f) latest and looks on a very handy mark now.
Successful 3 times over hurdles in 2024. Has cut little ice since finishing runner-up at this course (26.5f) 12 months ago. Drop into Class 5 company/booking of Tom Bellamy catches the eye, though.
Won handicaps at Taunton/Wincanton for previous yard. Slipping mark reflects that he hasn't been at his best for a while. Did emerge with credit when beaten just under 4 lengths in a better race here last time. Needs considering.
Long-standing maiden in this sphere. Finished runner-up in a pair of novice handicaps here last year. Supported but well below that form on first start for 10 months over C&D latest.
Without a win since fairly useful effort in France nearly 3 years ago. Confirmed he's back in some form when no match for improving, subsequent winner at Stratford last time. Has slipped to a very attractive mark (now 35 lb lower than opening mark in February 2025).
Belatedly opened his account from 3 lb out of the weights in a weak C&D handicap 10 days ago. Not discounted now up and running, though he's 3 lb higher in a better race here.
Capitalised on career-low mark when winning narrowly on return at this course (17f) last month. Form hardly looks robust and probably worth opposing off 3 lb higher.
Modest middle-distance winner on Flat. Ran better than on handicap debut when 5¾-lengths third behind Saucats over C&D. Reopposes on better terms, but this is a deeper race.
Fair maiden on Flat. Improved third on handicap debut at Ffos Las (2m). Jumping again looked flawed when well held over trip expected to suit at Uttoxeter (2½m) since, though addition of first-time tongue strap suggests all wasn't well.
Temperamental sort. Regressed since winning a bumper on debut for Olly Murphy in autumn 2024. Tries 2½m for first time in a handicap having shown little in 3 starts over 2m this year. Richie McLernon takes first ride for stable.
Lightly-raced 6-y-o maiden. Fared better than previously when 10 lengths fifth on second handicap start at Fontwell (2¾m). That's still only poor form, though.

A market to keep a close eye on. GET THE VALUE and Raffles Nobu have both fallen to attractive marks, with John O' Shea's previous C&D winner just given the nod.
