Smart French raider who extended his winning sequence to 6 with victory in 7-runner Prix du Muguet (14/10) at Saint-Cloud (1m, good) in May, by neck from Seagulls Eleven. More required here though, especially under a penalty.
Recorded a first success at the highest level when emerging on top in a thrilling finish of the Queen Anne Stakes last year. Looked as good as ever first 2 starts this season but turned in a rare below-par effort in latest renewal of aforementioned race. Bounce back required.
Successful debut in the Chesham here in 2022 and holding his form well these days, running up right to his best when runner-up in a listed event over C&D in May. Not disgraced off a big weight in the Hunt Cup since but looks vulnerable from a win point of view.
Won the Greenham and Celebration Mile at Goodwood (good to firm) last year. Bounced straight back from a lesser effort in Abu Dhabi with a cosy success in 1m Ascot listed race but well held back up in grade in the Lockinge subsequently.
Vastly improved for this yard last year, ready winner of Group 2 Hungerford Stakes (7f) and then left poorly placed when fourth of 16 in Group 1 Foret on final start. Reappeared with an excellent second in Lockinge and just missed out again in the Queen Anne. The one to beat.
Landed a Goodwood listed event last autumn and stepped up on his reappearance when narrowly denied in a similar event (1¼m) there in May. This is obviously tougher, however.
Has returned an improved performer this year, supplementing his French listed success in 8-runner Diomed Stakes at Epsom (8.5f, good to soft) 36 days ago. This is tougher but shouldn't be overlooked.
Made rapid progress when winning all 4 starts last year, culminating with 2¼-length defeat of Opera Ballo in Group 2 Joel at Newmarket (1m). Hasn't quite made the stride forward anticipated this year but still posted another smart effort when 2¾ lengths fourth of 9 in Queen Anne Stakes here latest.

Forecasts
More Thunder (1/1), Zeus Olympios (7/2), Docklands (9/2), No Lunch (10/1), Jonquil (14/1), Seagulls Eleven (18/1), Holloway Boy (25/1), Naqeeb (50/1)
MORE THUNDER fully confirmed he belongs at the top level when runner-up in the Queen Anne Stakes at the Royal meeting and is clearly the one to beat on that form back down in grade. Zeus Olympios hasn't quite gone as expected this year but remains low mileage and should be very competitive back at this slightly lower level. Seagulls Eleven has taken his form up a couple of notches of late and appeals as the likeliest to fill the places.
