Haven Handicap

Failed to better modest form in 6 starts for Ed Dunlop (at up to 9.5f). Didn't achieve a great deal despite finishing second over hurdles when last seen in August. Off since but she's in very capable hands.

Remains a maiden but placed at Wolverhampton and Lingfield this spring before racing too freely in cheekpieces when failing to land the odds at Kempton (1½m). Brushed aside back on turf at Leicester 3 weeks ago but drop in trip should be in his favour down slightly in class.

Cheekpieces back on and fit from a spell hurdling, he landed a C&D classified for the second time 12 days ago, always holding on. Should be a big factor again back in handicap company.

Successful in classified company at Wolverhampton in February but unable to make a significant impact in a trio of starts on the all-weather soon after. Given a break and has to prove he's as effective on turf.

Made more impact than previously in a first-time visor though was very much flattered by his proximity to the easy winner when second of 7 in minor event over C&D last month. Upped to 1½m and was too keen to see it out at Brighton 16 days ago. Handicap debut back in distance.

Remains a maiden and hard to recommend on form for this stable.

Won a Wolverhampton classified event last summer but generally more miss than hit since, including over hurdles. Withdrawn after proving unruly at the start at Huntingdon at the end of May and could never land a blow over C&D 12 days ago.
