Cappawhite Civil Engineering 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle

Modest Flat maiden, first run since leaving Michael Mulvany when fifth of 7 in claimer at Ballinrobe (9.7f, good to soft) 10 days ago. Lacks the class/scope of a few of these.

Tongue tie fitted when making a winning handicap debut at Dundalk (7f). Failed to repeat that effort over 1m next time suggesting stamina might be an issue in this sphere but dam a half-sister to fairly useful chaser (stayed 2¼m) Dogon, which offers hope, and he's in excellent hands. Hood fitted.

Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler/chase winner Come On The Lads (17f-2¼m winner) but went with no promise on Flat debut in October. Gelded after.

Maiden but just about the best of these on the Flat, fifth of 10 in maiden at Dundalk (1½m) 37 days ago. Stamina shouldn't be an issue and yard more than capable of readying one at the first attempt. Lots to like.

Much improved when second of 14 on handicap debut at Limerick in April. Not quite in the same form at Leopardstown a month ago but hails from a primarily jumps-oriented yard and so is capable of better sent hurdling.

Isn't bred for this and could hardly have shown less on his debut at Fairyhouse 3 weeks ago.

Dam a 2m hurdle winner, which offers a modicum of hope in this sphere but he looked very limited on the Flat.

First foal, dam 7.4f winner. Goes straight over obstacles.

No impact in 4 Flat starts.
