Shaped better than first time up when third of 7 in novice at Lingfield (6f, good to firm) 28 days ago, still in need of the experience but leading until over 1f out. Should make a bold bid with 2 runs behind him.

120,000 gns Havana Grey colt. Showed a bit amidst greenness when third of 5 in maiden at Hamilton (6f, good) on debut 19 days ago. Entitled to do better.

Foaled January 16. €130,000 yearling, €100,000 2-y-o, Blackbeard colt. Dam, third at 5f/6f at 2 yrs, half-sister to useful 7f/1m winner Key Witness. Appealing newcomer on paper.

Was very green on debut but still went close in a Hamilton novice last month, before racing too keenly when fourth of 11 at Chester 30 days ago. Remains capable of better as he gains more experience, so he could be ready to get off the mark this time around.
