Age: 7| Weight: 10-1| J: Harry Vigors⁽⁵⁾| T: Faye Bramley| OR: 83| CD

9/4

Enjoyed a fine 2025, winning a couple of 4-runner C&D events (including this race, from Kitty Foyle) before holding his own in competitive staying handicaps at Ascot/York. Simple task over hurdles a fortnight ago and back on a good mark in this sphere.

Age: 9| Weight: 9-11| J: Olivia Tubb⁽⁵⁾| T: J G Portman| OR: 79| D

17/2

Picked up where she left off in 2025 with victory in a thin 4-runner contest at Nottingham (1¾m) on return. Unsuited by steady pace at Lingfield next time but blotted her copybook with an uncharacteristically lazy display at Goodwood a fortnight ago. Looks vulnerable.

Form: 531-134

Baileys Khelstar¹²

Age: 6| Weight: 9-10| J: Oisin Murphy| T: C Johnston| OR: 78| D

1/2

Won twice in 2024 and back in good form this year having missed 21 months, runner-up for a third time at Catterick (1¾m) a fortnight ago, picked off by one coming from further back. Needs a bit more.

Forecasts

Baileys Khelstar (1/2), Taritino (6/4), Almuhit (9/4), Kitty Foyle (7/1), Russian Rumour (17/2)

TARITINO scored in good style at Salisbury and all looks set fair for another big run, with 2m likely to suit and Mason Paetel offsetting the 5 lb penalty. Last year's winner Almuhit got his head back in front over hurdles a fortnight ago and could be the danger.
