Useful handicapper who broke on terms for a change when third in last season's Portland and while not at his best either start this season, he could be dangerous dropping into this grade for the first time with a pace scenario to suit.
Strong-travelling mare who looked as good as ever when a close third at Goodwood on return. That form has taken a few knocks, however, she has a fine record at this track and could have another big performance in her.
Extended a long losing run when fifth of 7 in a 6f course handicap last time. Should benefit from the drop in grade/likely strong pace back over a sharp 5f, though, with the addition of first-time cheekpieces unlikely to harm, either.
Having posted some solid winning form in a progressive juvenile season, he shaped better than the beaten distance in a fairly useful event at Newcastle (6f) in January. Drop back in trip expected to suit this low-mileage sprinter and cannot be discounted if good yard has him ready to roll.
Backed up his stable debut/reappearance success with an eye-catching fourth (neck behind Glamorous Breeze) at Goodwood before shaping better than the beaten distance suggests in the Epsom Dash, and he's expected to be rattling home late.
Burned off his 5 rivals when capitalising on a lower turf mark at Yarmouth in April. Subsequently well beaten in the Epsom Dash, though soft ground may have blunted his speed, and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him make a bold bid with conditions to suit.
Stepped up on his strong Ascot fourth when coming from off the pace to land a C&D handicap (and first turf success) last time. Pitched into a better race but a 2 lb rise looks more than fair, and he could be seen to good effect under similar tactics here.
Finished third in a better-quality handicap over C&D last month prior to a more-than-forgivable effort in the Epsom Dash last time, and he could be very interesting now 6 lb lower than when successful in this grade under the returning Billy Loughnane last summer.
Quirky sort who has Oisin Murphy back aboard for the first time since winning this race off a 1 lb higher mark last year, and while this looks a deeper renewal, he continued a fine run of recent form when chasing home a well-ridden winner at Sandown on his latest start.

Forecasts
Rhythm N Hooves (10/3), Nogo's Dream (10/3), Mesaafi (4/1), Dream Composer (6/1), Glamorous Breeze (6/1), Rosario (15/2), Desert Cop (25/1), Almaty Star (28/1), Bassenthwaite (28/1)
An extremely tight handicap that could set up for the closers, and it may be worth taking a chance on ROSARIO, who's capable of making an immediate impact down in grade, provided he can again break on terms. A big run is expected from both Rhythm N Hooves and Dream Composer, while strong-travelling Glamorous Breeze shouldn't be ruled out, either.
