Well held in a deep race over 1¼m at Newbury on debut but showed much improved form to get off the mark in a 7f Chepstow maiden last time. Carries a penalty for that success, however, the step up to 1m should benefit given his attitude/run style.

Son of Bated Breath who makes plenty of appeal on pedigree but was too green to justify market expectations when third in a 7f Kempton novice on debut. Entitled to progress for that experience/ step up to 1m, though, and can get off the mark at the second attempt for excellent connections.

€42,000 yearling, Galiway gelding. Dam, runner-up at 9f in France, half-sister to useful winner up to 11.6f Hertford Dancer. Newcomer from a primarily jumps yard who wears a tongue strap (having already been gelded) and is likely to be one for the longer term.

Left his debut form well behind when (100/1) fifth of 11 in a maiden at Wolverhampton (8.5f). He was considerately ridden on that occasion, too, and there's probably more to come with Tom Marquand taking over in a weak race.

Made a promising start to his career when third in a 7f maiden at Musselburgh (form has some merit). Disappointing favourite on the turf course at Lingfield subsequently, though he's seemingly thought capable of better, with Billy Loughnane now doing the steering.

Masar filly who likely found 6f an inadequate test when down the field in a Newbury maiden on debut last August, and she's at least entitled to show more returning over a trip more in keeping with her pedigree.

Cost 56,000 gns as a 2-y-o but offered little on debut at Kempton last October, and it's hardly a positive sign that she's since been sold out of the Michael Bell yard.

Advertise filly. Dam, placed at 9.5f-11f in France, half-sister to useful 2-y-o 1m winner Liquid Amber out of smart winner up to 1½m (2-y-o 7f winner) Pachattack. Makes some appeal on paper and the market should be a good guide on racecourse bow.

Fiefdom could easily make more of an impact with Tom Marquand taking over and is feared, especially if supported, while a good case can be made for both Star Banner and Brocklesby Bill.
