Verdict

If UNION ISLAND is in the same form as when third at Carlisle last week he might prove the answer to this closing apprentice race. Up The Jazz disappointed at Redcar last time but had been knocking at the door prior to that, while Approaching Dawn was always adrift at Ayr on Friday evening but could revive back at the scene of his win earlier in the month.
