JCB Handicap (GBBPlus Race)

Progressive filly who's won back-to-back Kempton handicaps since returning from over a year off, going clear with another improving sort in fairly useful 1½m event there latest. Has to prove her effectiveness on turf/over a longer trip, however, she's weighted to make it a hat-trick.

Progressive staying handicapper for the Gosden yard last summer who finished well held in a couple of hurdle starts for new yard, however, he ran well when fourth in a 2m handicap on return to the Flat at Chester last time and shouldn't be inconvenienced by this shorter trip (1-1).

Winner of 2 of his previous 3 starts for excellent yard, he was well on top at the finish when posting a career best at Catterick last time and is expected to go close off a 3 lb higher mark.

Keener than ideal when well held back over this trip at Lingfield last time and while the return of a hood may help, he's hardly been shaping as though ready to capitalise on a falling mark.

One-time fairly useful hurdler who has shown ability remains in 3 starts on the Flat, not finding 1½m around Kempton enough of a test when fourth on qualifying run in late-March, and he's expected to benefit for the longer trip/track on handicap debut.
