One-time useful juvenile who ran to a fairly useful level on first start for over 3 years at Yarmouth last September. Below form/likely in need of the run both all-weather starts since, though encouraging that he's turned out fairly quickly and could be worth chancing back on turf.
Consistent sort who hasn't won since December 2024 but ran close to his best when third in a big-field handicap at Newbury last time, doing good work late on after conceding first run to the winner, and he's expected to go close back down in grade.
Hasn't won on turf since 2021 but he returns from 7 months off on a workable mark and has a good record when fresh.
Front runner who ran easily his best race of the year when a close second off this mark at Beverley last time, and he could be dangerous if able to dictate.
Followed a below-par effort with an even worse one when poorly drawn at Beverley last time but does at least benefit from an ease in grade/addition of a good-value apprentice.
Free-going sort who couldn't justify support in a couple of starts for Michael Appleby last year and similar story on stable debut/return (following a breathing operation) at Yarmouth. Handicapper has given him another chance, but first-time blinkers could easily have an adverse effect.
Form tailed off at the end of a productive 2025 but has proven he can hold his own in this grade, provided he's back on song following 9 months off.
Fairly useful Wolverhampton novice winner who was undone by her head-strong ways at Kempton (1m) on final outing for Michael Wigham in February. First-time hood/return to 7f should benefit, though, and Marco Botti has an excellent recent record with new recruits.
Twice a winner at Yarmouth last year, he hasn't gone on from his seasonal reappearance but finds himself back on his latest successful mark with Zac Lloyd taking over from a 3-lb apprentice.

Forecasts
Great Mates (2/1), Best Rate (11/4), Physique (3/1), Noble Guest (11/1), Benacre (14/1), Al Karrar (16/1), Longlai (18/1), Drifts Away (18/1), Fifty Nifty (33/1)
It's interesting that connections have persisted with AL KARRAR, who could be worth another chance on just his second start in a turf handicap. He's narrowly preferred to Best Rate, who should make a bold bid in a competitive event, while Great Mates looks interesting on first start for a new yard.
