Racked up a 4-timer over hurdles at up to 23f last summer and is progressing notably well in this sphere too, completing a hat-trick in 12-runner handicap at Pontefract (17f) 10 days ago, despite being slowly away. Hard to oppose.

Wide-margin winner at Southwell in October and returned with good runner-up efforts there in April. Not in same form back on turf over C&D last time, though.

Won 1¾m handicap at Yarmouth last June and first past the post at Bath the following month only to be demoted after wandering under pressure and causing interference. Entitled to have needed his Southwell reappearance but was disappointing dropped in grade back at Bath last time.
