Better effort in 7f maidens nearly 7 months apart when just under 9 lengths fifth of 7 at Gowran (7f, soft) 53 days ago. Lot more needed.
Twice-raced gelding. 125/1 and cheekpieces on first time, seventeenth of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (6.3f, good) 11 days ago. Down in trip. Blinkers tried now.
Down the field in 2 6f outings in recent weeks.
€13,000 Starman gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 1m winner Sonemos and 2-y-o 5.7f winner Bell I Am. Wears blinkers on debut. Probably best watched.
Fair maiden. Respectable eighth of 12 in handicap (25/1) at the Curragh (5f, good) 11 days ago. Tongue tie worn the last twice is left off, with cheekpieces added.
80/1, sixth of 7 in claimer (80/1) at Gowran (7f, good to soft) on debut 25 days ago. Down in trip. Easy to look elsewhere.
Fair maiden. Bit below form when fourth of 24 in maiden (9/1) at the Curragh (6f, heavy) on reappearance and went backwards from that when tenth of 14 over 7f at Down Royal 16 days ago. Looks one of her top yard's lesser lights.
50/1, eleventh of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (6.3f, good) on debut 11 days ago. Down in trip. Needs to leave that well behind.
Twice-raced filly. 80/1, eighth of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (6.3f, good) 11 days ago, not knocked about. Back down in trip.
Better effort in 2 outings 5 months apart last year when fourth of 7 in maiden at Navan (5f, soft) in October. Off another 7 months ahead of reappearance.
Profitable sister to useful 5f/6f winner Ostraka and half-sister to 5f/6f winner Charlemont. Dam, 5f winner, half-sister to very smart winner up to 6f Osterhase. Wears visor. This trainer/jockey combination has won this race twice in recent years, including with a newcomer. Very interesting.
Fairly useful form. Excellent second of 13 in maiden at Navan (5f, good to soft, 7/2) on reappearance 29 days ago, clear of rest. Sets a good standard.
Down the field in 2 outings last month. A first-time tongue tie needs to spark improvement.

Xerling (4/5), Osterode (3/1), Khafar (3/1), Sparky Sparky (9/2), Grande Cuvee (5/1), Cactus (9/1), McHenry Sunrise (22/1), Frosted Sky (33/1), Finika (40/1), In The Gloaming (40/1), Riot Star (50/1), You Smiled (100/1), Ballerina Dancer (100/1), West Sedona (200/1), Kula Bula Boyo (200/1), Little Roy (250/1)
XERLING will likely be tough to beat if reproducing the form she showed when runner-up on her Navan reappearance. Willie McCreery has a good record in this race so his newcomer Osterode is an interesting contender, particularly as Billy Lee, who rides the majority from the powerful Paddy Twomey yard, is on her rather than that stable's new recruit Khafar.
