Contested a couple of Derby trials for Ralph Beckett last year before going on to win a 1½m Goodwood handicap in the summer. Has been finding his feet in 3 starts for current yard this season, sixth of 10 at Ripon (1¼m) 16 days ago,

Was rejuvenated by fitting of blinkers last season, scoring easily at Newmarket (1¾m) in August. Without headgear, ran well after 6 months off when 2 lengths fifth of 8 at the same venue (1½m) in May and he's entitled to step forward from that outing tried again in cheekpieces.
Second past the post in this contest last year (subsequently awarded the race) when trained by Ed Bethell. Showed aptitude in a pair of novice hurdles over the winter for this yard, but was well held back on level here (10.3f) last month. Visor now reapplied.
Scored twice on all-weather in December but form has been mixed so far this year, though did have excuses (met trouble in running) when down the field in Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar (1¼m) 19 days ago.
Without a win so far this year but arrives in good heart, finishing runner-up twice at Hamilton last month. Shaped as if still in form when a staying-on sixth of 12 at Carlisle 2 weeks ago, so he could be thereabouts back down in grade.
Making first start for Gavin Cromwell, was successful on handicap debut at Listowel in September and followed up switched to hurdles. Didn't kick on in 3 subsequent outings, but returned to the Flat he got back on track for this yard when fourth of 10 at Hamilton last month. One to note.
Is being kept busy in 2026, already winning 3 times on the all-weather. Has made the frame on turf last 3 outings, making only second start at 1¼m when third of 10 at Nottingham 10 days ago. Hood now the choice of headgear up in trip/grade.
Made all for the fourth handicap success of her career at Haydock (1m) in April and has continued to give her running since, fourth of 7 at Nottingham (1¼m) 13 days ago. Can give another good account as she goes up in trip.
Has improved up in trip this season, showing a good attitude when winning 12-runner handicap at Salisbury (1¼m) in May. Slowly away when last of 10 at Chester only 7 days later, so she's well worth another chance going over further still.

Forecasts
Humble Spark (7/2), Secret Force (7/2), Mayaada (11/2), Dunkeld Dreamer (6/1), Arqoob (8/1), Parlando (10/1), Prince Of The Seas (11/1), Chillingham (11/1), No Knee Never (18/1)
MAYAADA took another step forward this season when scoring at Salisbury last month and, having had excuses next time, she is taken to resume winning ways as she goes further up in trip. Humble Spark arrives in good form and could be the main danger, ahead of Secret Force who could still have more to offer for current yard.
