Successful in a brace of 2½m handicaps in 2023. Made the frame on all 3 handicap starts the following season but is probably best watched on his return for a new stable (formerly with Olly Murphy) after 15 months off unless the betting suggests otherwise.
Knuckled down well to belatedly open his account in a match at Huntingdon in May and lost out only in a tight finish in a C&D handicap subsequently. Ought to remain competitive.
Not quite firing on all cylinders so far this year on the Flat but ran as well as he has over hurdles making his handicap debut in this sphere when fourth at Perth (2½m) in April. Needs more, though.
4-time course winner who went like the best horse at the weights in first-time blinkers (replacing usual cheekpieces) following a 9-week break when fourth of 12 in 21f handicap at Kelso on most recent outing. Has the pace to cope with the return to 2m and one to be interested in again.
Fair Flat winner who is still searching for a first success over hurdles but returned to form when shaking off all bar a winner who'd tumbled in the weights at Cartmel (17f) 17 days ago. Big chance with a repeat.
Posted back-to-back runner-up efforts this spring but found his run of good form coming to a halt at Kelso last time. Bounce back called for.
Poor maiden on the Flat but showed an aptitude for hurdling with in-frame finishes in mares maidens at Newcastle and Market Rasen this spring. However, was comfortably held making an early switch to handicap company at Fakenham last time.
Resumed progress when successful at Carlisle in March, finishing ahead of 4 next-time-out winners. Not in the same form when sixth of 12 at Newcastle (2½m) last time but is probably worth another chance back down in trip after a break.
Veteran who has slipped the field in a few races over the years, including at this course, and looked like he'd done so again for much of the way here (2½m) last week, still nearly 30 lengths ahead of his closest pursuers crossing 2 out. Dangerous if allowed an easy lead back down in trip.
Showed improved form in first-time cheekpieces to get off the mark over C&D in April but proved a major disappointment back here the following month. Needs to bounce back.

Malangen (13/8), Character Testing (4/1), Les's Legacy (11/2), National Question (7/1), Snapaudaciaheros (9/1), Stay In The Game (14/1), Zephlyn (14/1), Newport (18/1), Bobby Socks (40/1), Curious Mrs Fox (100/1)
LES'S LEGACY went like the best horse at the weights in first-time blinkers when fourth at Kelso last time and is taken to add to his tally of 4 course wins provided the headgear switch has the same effect. Malangen looked for a long way as if he'd slipped the field here last week and is sure to be dangerous if allowed an easy lead back at 2m, while Character Testing also enter calculations after beating all bar one who had tumbled in the weights at Cartmel recently.
