Allington Hughes Law Handicap (Div 1)

Got off the mark in 7f Epsom novice in September before finding valuable sales event at Newmarket too competitive. Shaped well at Nottingham on return and entitled to build on that.

Made most of a good opportunity when off the mark in a maiden at Lingfield (turf) last month and clear of rest when beaten only by an improver back in a handicap there 2 weeks ago. Shortlisted.

Runner-up all 3 starts, stepping up on debut at the second attempt in maiden at Newcastle last time. Needs to improve again off this opening mark, though.

Much improved since being gelded and sent handicapping, recording a quick-fire Southwell hat-trick over 6f/7f in January. Had winning run ended at Newcastle later that month and shaped as if amiss back from a break at Windsor last time.

Stepped up on debut when close third at Newcastle (1m) in November. Might have needed comeback run at Redcar and remains with potential now handicapping.

Runner-up for the third time in handicaps at Windsor last month, arguably a shade unlucky given she was slowly away and also hampered. Again met trouble at Newmarket since and she remains of interest.

Ended 2025 in good form and resumed from 6 months off with a solid third at Beverley. Needs to shrug off a below-par effort at York 3 weeks ago, however.

Good efforts when runner-up on first 2 starts in nurseries towards the end of last year but pulled too hard both starts since, including on return. Tongue strap on 1st time.
