A 5-time winner for Andre Fabre in France and showed promise returning from 7 months off when fourth of 8 at Leopardstown 27 days ago, the forcing tactics rather overdone and lack of a run telling late on. Drops back to 7f here and can be in the mix.
Creditable third of 11 in a listed race at Haydock 28 days ago on his return from 7 months off. Any cut in the ground will suit him here but now steps up to Group 3 level with plenty to find.
Short-head second in Group 2 at Meydan over 7f in January in first-time cheekpieces, but only eighth of 10 at Curragh in the same grade over 6f when tried in blinkers 14 days ago. Reverts to cheekpieces and back up to 7f and is capable of troubling the places if on top form.
Form is a bit up and down but he's a smart handicapper on his day, including 3 wins last year while he also ran well when fourth of 28 in the Victoria Cup at Ascot 28 days ago. This step up to Group 3 level is likely to see him found wanting, though.
Made up into a very smart performer last year, peaking when winning the Group 1 City of York over this trip in August. Too fresh to last out upped to 1m when fifth of 6 at Sandown in a Group 2 on recent return from 6 months off and will be sharper for that outing so holds leading claims back at 7f.
Winless since 2024 but still showed smart form when runner-up twice last year. Hasn't returned at the top of his game this season, though, finishing only fifth of 11 in listed company at Haydock 28 days ago, so he's got something to prove back up in grade.
Won this Group 3 at Haydock on reappearance last year but hit or miss since and ran poorly at same track in a listed race 28 days ago. Capable of bouncing back for in-form yard.
Smart sort at best who won the Lennox Stakes last summer but struggled subsequently and only eighth of 13 in a Group 3 at Meydan when last seen in March. First run after breathing operation and also has a first-time tongue strap.

Forecasts
Never So Brave (15/8), Alcantor (2/1), Ten Bob Tony (11/2), Poet Master (11/1), Witness Stand (12/1), Golden Mind (14/1), Chicago Critic (25/1), Balmacara (25/1)
NEVER SO BRAVE won at Group 1 level last year and can prove too strong with his reappearance under his belt. Alcantor showed promise when fourth at Leopardstown on his return and could be the biggest danger, while Ten Bob Tony, who won this race at Haydock last season could bounce back with a big run.
