Twice a winner in novice company over 7f for Roger Varian last season. Decent start for new connections when fifth at Haydock on return and might have found Ascot run coming too soon 2 weeks later.

Continued on the upgrade last season, making all for wins at Haydock (7f) and here (6.5f). Only just edged out in the Ayr Gold Cup final start and expected to leave his York reappearance behind.

On a lengthy losing run but ended last season with a trio of in-frame efforts. Far from disgraced in the Lincoln here (1m) on return in March and will find this less competitive.

Useful on his day but not straightforward and was less than cooperative at Lingfield 4 weeks ago.

Dual C&D winner including this race 12 months ago off 2 lb lower. Became frustrating towards the back end last year but returned with a good second here (6f) in March. Needs to shrug off a most disappointing effort back over same C&D since, however.

Took form to another level when winning at Newcastle in October, showing a potent turn of foot. Returned with a decent third at Newmarket 3 weeks ago and is entitled to come on for that.

Seen only 3 times last year but ended the season with a career-best win at Newcastle in October. Sold from Andrew Balding for 150,000gns later in the month and subsequently gelded. One to note returning for new connections.

Progressive form when winning 4 times in 2024. Just a handful of starts since, back to form when close third at Redcar on return before shaping as if amiss at Thirsk 3 weeks ago.

A 3-time 6f/7f winner in the second half of 2025. Decent efforts in defeat this year, including when fourth of 18 on his return to turf at Newmarket 7 weeks ago. Can give another good account.

Maiden/novice winner from 4 starts last season but more is required if he's to defy current mark.

Got off the mark at the third attempt in 6f maiden at Newcastle in November. Much better effort in handicaps this season when respectable fourth of 22 at York 3 weeks ago. Remains unexposed but this harder. Headgear on.
