Travis Perkins Scotland Handicap

Has had plenty of racing and ran up to her best to open her account in 1m Carlisle handicap 3 weeks ago, settling better than of late. Up 4 lb but can make another bold bid.

Well held in 3 maidens, including on return at Beverley (7.4f). Could do better now handicapping at this low level, certainly bred to (half-sister to several winners, including smart winner up to 7f Birchwood).

Improved to get off the mark in 7f Catterick handicap a fortnight ago under 7-lb claimer, going with enthusiasm. Back up 4 lb but a few in behind in that race have run well since and she can figure prominently again.

Rather tapped for toe on her handicap debut at Carlisle (6f, 18/1) last week and this step up in trip looks a good move.

Failed to show any ability in 4 outings last year, including a C&D handicap.

Showed a bit more than previously on return/handicap debut when a never-nearer fourth to Mereside Princess at Carlisle. Should strip fitter for that and might get closer.
