Flat winner who justified heavy support on first try beyond 2m over hurdles in 7-runner 21f handicap at Huntingdon in April. Slammed with a 15 lb rise and it proved beyond him at Fakenham a month ago.

Much more like it upped in trip last month when second of 8 at Fakenham before going one place better at Bangor (2½m) 18 days ago. Didn't look the easiest of rides in the process and while 12 lb rise asks a new question, he's in expert hands.

Showed improved form when opening account over C&D in April, benefiting from the longer distance. Up 6 lb and just a fair third at Ludlow since.

Back-to-back winner at up to 19f in April and while he couldn't complete the hat-trick at Uttoxeter back over 2m 18 days ago, it was by no means a backward step in second. Looks the one to beat returned to this trip.
