Katarcice^t²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Jack Hogan| T: F O'Brien

6/5

Shaped encouragingly when placed sole start in bumpers and plenty of promise to glean from his hurdles debut second at Huntingdon (2m) in April. Posted solid effort over this trip in a match at same course since and is likely to go well again.

Form: 522/32-2

4/1

Point winner who posted promising third of 7 in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m, good, 18/5) 31 days ago, finishing with running left. May well do better, particularly over this longer distance.

Form: 1-3

The Hostage¹⁷

66/1

Beaten a long way in 2 bumpers this spring and similar story on hurdles debut at Uttoxeter last month.

11/8

Dual bumper scorer last term who ran with promise when third of 13 in novice at Perth (2m, soft, 16/5) on hurdles bow 19 days ago. Likely to appreciate this longer trip and a bold show is anticipated.

Forecasts

Katarcice (6/5), Way Maker (11/8), Hawk's Rock (13/8), Kingofthefrontier (4/1), Boom Boom Boris (28/1), The Hostage (66/1)

WAY MAKER made a promising start over hurdles at Perth 3 weeks ago and this dual bumper scorer can build on that now stepped up in distance and open his account in this sphere. Similar comments apply to Kingofthefrontier and he looks the danger ahead of Katarcice.
