Sioux Nation colt went with limited encouragement when eighth of 10 in a maiden at Newbury (6f, 33/1) on debut but should at least strip fitter for that run.

Foaled February 9. €19,000 foal, €46,000 yearling. Australia colt. Closely related to smart 9.5f-16.5f winner Antiquarium and half-brother to 3 winners, including 1m-1¾m winner Grand Scheme and 7f winner Modern Artist. Interesting type for yard who've made a typically fast start with juveniles.

Foaled April 7. £30,000 yearling, Kameko colt. Half-brother to 5f winner Houndhill. Dam unraced sister to useful 5f winner Lokada. Yard's newcomers typically need their first run, but the market can guide.

Masar colt who was well backed but proved extremely green when third of 7 at Redcar on debut (7f). He should improve for that experience and is likely to be in the mix.

Foaled April 5. 40,000 gns yearling, Ghaiyyath filly. Half-sister to 9f winner Loveable Rogue. Dam, maiden (stayed 7f), half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Burnt Sugar. Debutante is probably one for the longer term.

Foaled April 30. €8,000 yearling, Torquator Tasso colt. Dam unraced sister to useful 7f winner Navarra King out of useful 9f/1¼m winner Navarra Queen. Cheap purchase for one representing an excellent yard, but he makes some appeal on pedigree and has to be high on the shortlist.

Foaled March 30. Harry Angel filly. Dam 9.5f winner. Stable's juveniles generally in good form and she's one to note if supported.

Space Traveller could only run to a similar level as on debut when fifth of 12 at Chepstow (6f). Still looked green on that occasion, though, and is well worth a go over 7f.
