Caught the eye when fifth of 11 in maiden at Catterick (7f) on debut in April. Hasn't reproduced that in 2 subsequent outings but remains the type to do better at some point. Not sure 5f will be in his favour.

Proved his reappearance effort (second at Doncaster at 100/1) was no fluke when again finding one too strong in 7-runner maiden at Ayr (6f, good to firm). However, was disappointing on handicap debut at Haydock last week, the softer ground possibly an issue. This is easier dropped in trip.

Showed plenty in 5f newcomers race at Newbury for Marcus Tregoning early last season. Has taken a strong hold on both starts for new yard this year and now has a tongue tie on following a breathing operation.
|
Little promise in all-weather maiden and novice.
|
Raced solely in 5f Southwell events, well backed when flopping on debut but showing plenty more the last twice (went down by a head first occasion). Obvious claims on turf debut back from a break.

Forecasts
Stoneacre Joe (11/10), Skip To Victory (7/4), Vinciamo (9/2), Forest Phoenix (10/1), Gwen Tennyson (50/1), Aurora's Doublesix (200/1)
SKIP TO VICTORY has shown plenty of speed the last twice and can open her account if carrying on the good work on turf back from a break. Stoneacre Joe is the danger on form returned to a novice, although Vinciamo has claims if settling better in a first-time tongue tie following a breathing operation.
