Tailed off in a pair of bumpers earlier this spring and offered little on Flat debut when last of 6 in maiden over this C&D 8 days ago. Looks to be up against it.
Jack Hobbs filly. Dam, maiden jumper (stayed 25f), closely related to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 3¾m) Chemical Energy.
Down the field completed starts over hurdles and fared no better sent chasing when sixth of 7 in handicap at Hexham (2½m) last summer. Off 9 months ahead of first run since leaving Alison Thorpe (hood retained from jumps).
Has shown plenty of ability in 3 starts so far, racing freely on return but beaten only a length when sixth of 10 in novice at Newbury 6 weeks ago, form which has been boosted since. Could benefit from application of hood and he remains with potential.
Sent off at 125/1 but was much improved from debut when fourth of 9 in maiden at Newbury 2 weeks ago, keeping on again final 1f. Will need to find more again in this contest.
Built on debut promise when runner-up to the odds-on favourite in a Newmarket maiden in October. After 7 months off, wasn't quite able to match that form when fourth of 11 at Newbury 2 weeks ago, but he can step forward from that run with tongue strap added.
Placed all 3 starts despite looking in need of the experience, running his best race yet when second to a promising type in 5-runner maiden at Chester 23 days ago. Can continue to go the right way as he develops with racing.
45,000 gns foal, 90,000 gns yearling, Zelzal colt. Dam, ran once in France, half-sister to smart winner up to 1½m Kapour out of useful 1m/9f winner Kitcat. Has a useful standard to aim at first time up.

Forecasts
Alfaraz (10/11), Echo Of Stars (2/1), El Nay (7/2), Blue Hercules (14/1), Kinetic Impact (22/1), Strong Man Tom (250/1), Prophet Squeeze (250/1), Madame Dragon (250/1)
This can go the way of ALFARAZ, who shaped encouragingly when runner-up both starts at 2 yrs before doing well to last as long as he did at Newbury on reappearance. Fitted with a hood, he is taken to get the better of another pair of promising types, with Echo of Stars preferred for second over El Nay.
