Evelyn^t¹⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Ryan Treacy| T: Mrs J Cashin| OR: 94

12/1

Good efforts in the frame in mares maiden hurdles at Tramore and Cork (19f) the last twice and could be involved back in a handicap if keeping the mistakes down.

Form: 60803/4

Marian Avenue¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Philip Byrnes| T: C Byrnes| OR: 94

11/8

Well backed and left previous efforts behind when going down narrowly to odds-on winner in handicap hurdle at Punchestown (2m, good to soft, 9/2) 15 days ago. Step up in trip should suit and he looks sure to go close once more despite a 5 lb rise.

Form: 6P080/2

Coup D'essay³⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-7| J: Keith Donoghue| T: G P Cromwell| OR: 92

13/2

Below previous form when seventh of 16 in handicap hurdle (40/1) at Kilbeggan (19f, good to soft) 34 days ago. Might need some respite from the handicapper.

Getaway Henry^b¹⁸⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 10-11| J: Darragh O'Keeffe| T: Daniel O'leary| OR: 82

14/1

Made the frame twice in 2m handicap hurdles at Thurles in October, benefiting from application of blinkers when runner-up on the second occasion. However, wasn't in the same form there the following month and absent since. Should stay this sort of trip and not taken lightly.

Form: 605428/

Calm Flight Ahead^p1⁴⁸

Granlahan¹⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 10-8| J: Danny Gilligan| T: A McGuinness| OR: 85

Form: 060/8

Hob's Angel¹⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 10-7| J: Josh Williamson⁽⁵⁾| T: J Barcoe| OR: 78| D

5/1

Attracted support with this apprentice up and finally opened her account from a career-low mark in 16-runner handicap hurdle (9/1) at Clonmel (2½m, good) 14 days ago, always holding on. Back up 6 lb and not an obvious type to follow up.

Form: 84606/1

Loulouless¹⁴

Forecasts

Marian Avenue (11/8), Hob's Angel (5/1), Coup D'essay (13/2), Loulouless (9/1), Georginas Jet (10/1), Qaasid (11/1), Hidalgo Des Mottes (12/1), Evelyn (12/1), Backinabit (14/1), Getaway Henry (14/1), Not So Serious (20/1), Getaway Blondie (22/1), Granlahan (25/1), Jetovango (25/1), Tantrum Boy (28/1), Friar Hogan (28/1), Calm Flight Ahead (33/1), Go Avel (40/1), Celtic Crossing (40/1)

MARIAN AVENUE was much improved when just failing to land a gamble at Punchestown a fortnight ago and can go one better up in trip. Qaasid and Hidalgo des Mottes could be the dangers, although Philip Rothwell took a division of this last year with a handicap debutant so Calm Flight Ahead shouldn't be written off despite having shown little thus far.
